Letter to Sh. C.R. Das, President,Mumbai for Delhi issues

Dear Shri Das,

Kindly refer to your letter no. ASTO/MR/C&MD/01/05-07 dated 22.12.2006. ASTO, Delhi appreciates the stand taken by you on the vital issues facing the officer’s community as well as the organization. We fully support the path you have taken and also request you to further advice us on future course of action.

The issue of non payment of arrears for profit sharing for the year 2002-03 and 03-04 is very sad. This was already agreed and approved by the board also. The day of reckoning is facing us and we have no other alternative but to agitate and take what is due to us. The issue of ad hoc payment is must as our pay revision has become due w.e.f. 01.01.2007 and if the management and the Government had taken steps earlier the pay revision would have got implemented from this date. Hence, the ad hoc has become due from this vary date it self.

We request you to add following issues also in the agenda:

1. E2 to E5 pay anomaly.
2. Payment of profit sharing along with arrears to those officers who have been deputed to other organizations in the interest of ONGC
3. Enhancement of HRA wherever it has been enhanced as per the guidelines.
4. Enhancement of Self Lease rates and Lease rates for Metro Cities like Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata due to lack of proper residential facilities and ever increasing rentals.
