Open News Letter No. 38
Dear friends,
Your team at ASTO Delhi has always strived to work for the welfare of the people. The achievements through out the year of 2007 are attributed to the strength of the people, the confidence of the members at Delhi in their team and off course the resolute will of the people to keep the ASTO Delhi team on their toes to deliver. The team has worked in open and a transparent manner on all the issues.
Friends, the response to the Housing Project has received tremendous response from the officer’s community at large. Within a week more than 122 flats out of 159 available flats have been booked. We shall shortly constitute two committees to look into the working of the Project. One committee to monitor the progress of the project and check the quality of the construction i.e. adherence to the parameters laid out in the MOU and the other shall be formed to work out a housing loan scheme for the officers with banks preferably public sector banks. The committees shall be constituted within a week.
As brought out earlier in our newsletters the new contractor for canteen and house keeping shall be taking charge w.e.f. 1st January, 2008. All the officers are requested to keep a close watch on the performance of the new contractor.
Orders for promotions w.e.f. 1.1.2008 up to E4 levels have been issued and sent to I/C HR/ERs thru sap mail. Our efforts shall now be for getting the orders released for corporate levels for year 2008 as well as review of corporate level promotions which ASTO has been demanding and has also passed a resolution in the CEC.
We also wish all the employees and their families a very happy, prosperous and successful new year – 2008. Let all of us strive with all our capabilities to make the year 2008 a year of achievements, victories and successes for ONGC as well as for our families.
