STOP NOT TILL THE GOAL IS ACHIEVED

Dear friends,

Your team of ASTO Delhi had taken charge on 26th September, 2005. Since that day the team has continuously strived to come up to the expectations of all the members. We have endeavoured to maintain constant touch and interaction with all the members either through Newsletters, Emails, Flash News and General Body Meetings for all the offices at Delhi.

Friends, we have been keeping all of you updated on the various welfare and organizational issues that have been resolved so far. The updates on the issues, approved by EC that we had informed vide our flash news are as follows:

1. Maintenance Charges for Lease/Self Lease houses enhanced to two and half months. Further maintenance charges shall also be admissible for employees staying availing HRA as well.
2. Out of Pocket Allowance Scheme that had been kept in abeyance since July, 2007 has been further approved for continuation.
3. M.A. in Public Administration shall be treated as Q2 w.e.f. 1.1.1997 instead of Q3.

The Composite Facilities Management Services for improvement of canteen and house keeping services at Delhi office has also been taken up. Tender is under finalization stage.

The orders on above issues shall be issued shortly. Though we have been able to resolve many major issues but we cannot sit back as there are many issues that have remained unresolved like enhancement of HRA/Self Lease, clarity on PRBS, review of corporate level promotions where lot of our senior colleagues have been dropped though no proper reasons have been assigned so far. We have already overshot our tenure but we shall continue to strive for the welfare issues. We once again thank all of you for giving us complete support throughout the tenure.
