Sub: Post disaster management at Hazira Plant

Sir,

In this worst ever flood situation our Plant and colonies at Hazira have been affected very badly. In this hour of crisis the initiatives carried out by the Executive Committee is exemplary.

The employees of Hazira have fought brilliantly against the onslaught of nature. The neighboring work centers as well as Mumbai Region has also reacted to the situation brilliantly.

The crisis is not over yet. Now would be the time to restore the area and the colonies back to normalcy as well as take precautions for any further future fury of the nature. In this hour of crisis the Plant management would definitely require additional man power to carry our restoration jobs especially electrical, instrumentation, civil and process engineers.

If the situation so demands and is required by the Plant Management and EC and we need to send required engineers to carry out restoration works, there are number of officers at Delhi office who would like to offer their services to carry out restoration work. I also offer my services in any capacity to help carry out restoration work for the Hazira Work Center.

With best regards.
Yours sincerely,

(Amit Kumar)
